The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it is actually alarmed concerning the higher variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The assistance point produced for intervention status sassa encounters a substantial inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it tricky with the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to help the servicing of all prospects and boost usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
